This tool is designed to take the place of the actual spindle flange during set up.

Use this set-up tool to check the end play of new rear bearing assemblies before you press them onto the spindle. Proper end play is critical to your wheel bearing's life -- a few thousandths of an inch over or under can result in premature bearing failure, more expensive repairs and down time. With this tool, proper shim selection is simple and does not require repeated pressing on and off of the bearings. Bearings and shims sold separately.
