1963-1982 Corvette Double Off-Set Trailing Arms - pair
Double Offsets are the exact same as standard offset, except for the spring bolt hole. It is moved 1" toward the differential so you must use a shortened spring.ms / C3
T-arm is offset 2 inches. By running an offset trailing arm, it will allow you to run a wider tire on a stock rim or run a wider aftermarket rim and tire. T-Arms come powder coated gloss black and come with poly bushings. All arms are made in America. They are 1/4"thick, c-channel. Laser cut and jig welded. Offset come powder coated gloss black and have poly bushings. We have shorter fiberglass springs. You must call to order your shortened spring.
There are a couple of differences between the (E3780) standard offset t-arms and the (E3780A) double offset t-arms. The nose bushing up front on the standard offsets is a stock replacement poly bushing while the double offset arm uses a custom poly bushing which is smaller. All the double offset have the spring bolt hole moved in 1" on each side and you have to buy a 1" shortened spring. Most of the time guys use the double offsets when they run a 15" or 16" tire package. The additional inboard clearance is crucial b/c of side wall flex during a turn. If you plan on running a 17" wheel or taller, I would recommend you run a standard offset arm. On a 17" wheel you still may have to buy a shortened spring but that will depend on rims width. We recommend you call us with what you have in mind, and we can help guide you in the right direction.
If you are using Van Steel offset trailing arms for any other use besides the intended design for a steel leaf spring or composite spring, this WILL void any warranty.
